The current plan is

We want to build 1/2 cob-1/2 straw bale house. Cob for beautiful pottery like sculptability, thermal mass and its structural integrity. Straw bale for sustainable insulative properties and its ability to integrate into the low impact construction ideal that we have.

We want to grow a large percentage of our food, use as few fossel fuels as possible--basically tread as lightly on this earth as we can.
